Anyone who knows me knows this is my favorite restaurant in the city. And every time I go, I am so thankful that the Bartolotta family is from Milwaukee. You really cannot go wrong. But last weekend they surpassed not only the food, but the customer service as well. My favorite lunch special is their veal medallions in a beurre blanc sauce with mushrooms. It is also usually their Thursday night special. C & I went on Friday night. I asked if there was any way to get the Thursday special on a Friday. The answer, yes. I was so excited and it was melt in your mouth delicious!! My other favorite, the fried whole soft cooked egg with frisee lettuce and black truffle vinaigrette. And of course, escargots, foie gras, french onion soup, etc…. Oh and let’s not forget the desserts. Scrumptious. Save room!
